Unknown - if I chose a name for this one, it would be
'Y'all Come Back Now'
The hose just has to appear in the photos if given the slightest opportunity.
It wasn't there before I took the photo, and now there it is posing in the background.
This is starting to remind me of the superman cameos in Seinfeld.

Unknown - I'd name this one 'Lemon Meringue'
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you're having a great week!

  1. Your mentioning the hose inspires a name, one including an old traditional name for that watering tool: Hosepipe Zelig.

    1. Hey Lee. That sounds like a good name for a hosepipe with a life of its own. I haven't heard the name Hosepipe Zelig before. The things one learns from their virtual gardening friends is amazing!
      All the best! :-)

  2. Love Lemon Meringue - really do - the pud also. The hose made me jealous as we have just been told the hosepipe ban will go until next year despite the wettest April month ever on records in England. We have also been warned that after two years of drought we may need to have standpipes in the street from next year (ie no water piped into our homes in London!) The world has gone mad! xx

    1. Oh, I love Lemon Meringue too ... the flower and the pie. :-) I thought you might like that daylily since it's white. That is terrible that you have a hosepipe ban until next year. Is he water table extremely low there? I guess I shouldn't complain about my hose getting in the way. The standpipe idea sounds terrible. I don't see how you would have enough water in your home with just standpipes, but I don't know that much about them. Yes, there are times when I feel the world has gone mad too! xx

  3. You have so many lovely varieties - I have one - Frans Hals - you put me to shame!

    1. Thank you for your kind words, Elaine. I've been collecting for a long time. Daylilies seem to love heat (within reason), so this is the place for them. I just looked up 'Frans Hals' and it is beautiful. I'm sure it shines in the garden.
      Happy gardening! :-)
