Gonna Garden Like a Rock Star!

Yep, gonna garden like a rock star in the Daylily Soup garden today! LOL. An update will be along soon unless I'm locked up in "the big house" for my rock star behavior! I'm on my way out the door in my gardening getup of gray safari cargo pants (protection from fire ants), blue flowered gardening boots, white flowered gardening hat and red gardening gloves ( I'm not hard to spot in the garden). What's your favorite gardening getup? Hope you have a lovely day, friends! :-)

    1. Hey Lee, Just got out of the "big house," due to "garden like a rock star" behavior and crazy garden getup. The neighbors finally made that phone call ... lol. However, I do have an update coming up soon. So glad you stopped by. All the best! :-)

    1. Hey Jane, I stopped by Casa Mariposa. That's a great and hilarious post! She is more "high fashion" than I. My getup is like one big gaudy flower running around in the garden ... LOL. So glad you stopped by. All the best! X :-)

  3. haha - I wear jogging pants, two shirts, a bright pink windbreaker, and blue and green sloggers. When hotter weather gets here, I'll change out pants for shorts and only wear one shirt. I'd love to find some red gardening gloves!

    1. Hey Holley, Your getup sounds quite colorful too! I was given my red gardening gloves and don't know where they were purchased, but if I come across some red ones, I'll be sure to let you know. So glad you stopped by. Oh, my 'Don Juan' and 'Buff Beauty' roses are looking good. This is their second year in the garden. All the best! :-)

  4. I am sure we all look just fabulous in our gardening attire. I wear the oldest jeans I have, then layers of shirts, to shed as it warms up. My flower printed sloggers, and purple gardening gloves. Looking forward to your update. I see your iris are about ready to bloom. Please post those pictures!

    1. Hey Cindy, Yes, I tend to think we all probably look like the gaudiest of flowers running around in the garden ... LOL. Your purple gloves sound fab! I'll have to get my hands on some of those (my favorite color). I'll be sure to post a pic of the irises. So glad you stopped by. All the best! :-)

  5. I must admit that today I was gardening for more than an hour in my dressing gown....not for the first time and probably not for the last! I just had to go out and look at my new magnolia to see if it had got any flowers since yesterday, and then I discovered some pots that needed water, and then there was some other things needed doing and before I knew it more than an hour had gone by. My neighbours are used to me in my wine red dressing gown, they just say hello and make no comments to the attire!

    1. Hi Helene, Your garden attire sounds lovely. I have been known to run out to feed the birds first thing in the morning in my Asian inspired robe along with my blue flowered gardening boots. It's so easy to lose track of time in the garden isn't it. Time just flies when in one's magical garden. So glad you stopped by. All the best! :-)

  6. You sound very colourful in your gardening attire - I do not have a special gardening get up and is just as likely to be hat, scarf and gloves in our colder climes. Happy gardening

  7. No hats for me as I'll be sweating underneath it. I garden where the shade is and I love the feeling of the wind blowing on the face.
