Oh to be wearing short sleeves/no sleeves! The weather here is pretty cold and there is just no chance of getting into the garden for a few weeks to prepare the raised beds. I missed a whole year due to illness and am really anxious to make up for it this year with a dazzling display of vegetables and herbs - and for this year a change ... lots of flowers! You have inspired me with the iris! xx
Yes, we are lucky in Alabama right now, but you'll be the lucky one in July and August. It is normally unbearably hot here by then. Sometimes June is even extremely hot. I'm sorry you missed a year of gardening due to illness ... hope you're all well now. I missed a year of gardening four years ago due a back injury so I can empathize. It took two years for me to get the flower beds back in order. I hope you'll post pictures of your beautiful garden this year. I would love to see it. Thank you for the nice compliment about the iris inspiring you. That made my day!
