FOURTH OF JULY ROSE BY DAVID AUSTIN

More blooms from the past ... I love these Fourth of July climbing roses by David Austin.  I think they look like they're right out of "Alice in Wonderland."

  1. Beautiful photos. I love roses but not in my own garden - they are such hard work, too prickly for visiting children, and only bloom in the summer. I am an evergreen fan with the odd splash of colour.

  2. Thank you Annabelle. In my opinion, the easiest roses to care for are Knock Out roses. They bloom from early spring until the first frost, and they are drought tolerant and disease resistant. They do still have those prickly thorns though. :-)
